不登校の支援活動を行う「東京シューレ葛飾中学校」の紹介

Introduction to Tokyo Shure Katsushika Junior High School, which support truancy

東京シューレ葛飾中学校（https://katsushika.shuregakuen.ed.jp/）は、２００７年に開校した、私立中学校です。不登校を経験した子供の成長支援のため文部科学省から正式認可を受けた、特別な教育課程の下で行われています。２０２３年から不登校特例校と名称から変更となった、「学びの多様化学校」の１つです。

３　さまざまな育ち方をサポートする　ということを大切にし、「子どもが創る・子どもと創る」を柱にしています。

基本となるグループをクラスではなく「ホーム」と呼び、ホームの中には、中１から中３まで全学年の生徒がいます。

学校に通って育つあり方もあれば、家庭を中心に育つあり方もあり、本校では「ホームエデュケーション」も視野に入れ、家庭中心で育つ人の成長支援もおこなっています。
体験的な時間が多くあることも特徴です。いろいろな経験をすることで、深い発見があったり、感性が磨かれ、豊かな学びをすることができます。週１回終日使う「いろいろタイム」、半年なり１年、あるいは３年間通して、自分の関心あるテーマを選んで参加する「プロジェクト」、放課後の時間、やりたい活動に参加する「それぞれの活動時間」などがあります。体験から学ぶことは大変多く、こういう時間を通して、自己肯定感も芽生え、進路づくりの参考となったり、仲間づくり、興味関心の幅が広がるということも大事なことだと考えています。
親同士のつながり、スタッフと親とのつながり、卒業生の親同士、在校生と卒業生の親同士のつながりも大切と考えて、保護者会、保護者学習会は毎月行い、卒親会は卒業生の親の方が自発的につくられました。

どなたでも参加OKの「葛飾不登校の子どもを持つ親・保護者の会」も、毎月第３土曜日（８月を除く）午前１０時から、本校を会場におこなっています。

Tokyo Shure Katsushika Junior High School is a private junior high school that opened in 2007. It is one of the 'Diversified Learning Schools', which was renamed a special school for truants in 2023.

3 The focus is on supporting different ways of growing up and is based on the pillar 'Create with the child - create with the child'.

The basic group is called a 'home' rather than a class, and within the home are pupils from all grades, from first to third.
Some people are brought up in school, others at home, and our school also supports the development of people who are brought up at home, with a view to 'home education'.
It is also characterised by a lot of hands-on time. The variety of experiences allows for deep discoveries, shades of sensitivity and a rich learning experience. There are 'various times', which are used once a week for the whole day, 'projects', in which students choose a theme of their own interest and participate in it for six months, a year or three years, and 'individual activity times', in which students participate in activities they want to do after school.We believe it is also important for them to develop a sense of self-esteem, to use this as a reference for their career paths, to make friends and to broaden their interests.
Parents' meetings and parent-teacher learning groups are held every month, and graduate parent meetings are organised spontaneously by parents of graduates.
A meeting for parents and guardians of children who are not attending school is also held at the school on the third Saturday of every month at 10am.
